Lecture Discusses Interviews With World War II Veterans on Saturday 8/22/15.

The Library of the Chathams is hosting a lecture by Chatham resident and professional narrator Tim Crow this Saturday, August 22 from 2 to 3:30PM. He will be sharing information about interviews he conducted with World War II veterans from New Jersey, part of a project sponsored by the Library of Congress.

This talk is sure to be an insightful program detailing the experiences of Garden State veterans as they defended our country. August 15, 2015 marked the 70th anniversary of the end of World War II. Throughout the month, the library will be exploring the history of the war, displaying their collection of World War II materials and inviting members of the community to share their stories, history and knowledge of World War II.

Located at 214 Main Street, the Library of the Chathams offers numerous programs, events and activities for all ages.

This historic lecture at the Library of the Chathams demonstrates the library’s commitment to keeping local residents engaged and informed on numerous topics both past and present.  If living in a town like Chatham appeals to you, contact the Chatham Office of Turpin Real Estate at 973-635-5555 or 877-788-7746.  We are always happy to talk with you about Chatham Township luxury homes for sale, neighborhoods in Chatham or luxury real estate in New Jersey.
