Join the Washington Township Historical Society as they mark their 33rd Annual Historic House Tour on Saturday, December 10 from 11am to 4pm. A number of historic homes and buildings will be included on the tour. Tickets are $20 in advance or $25 on the day of the tour.
On the schedule are historic homes in Washington Township as well as tours of the German Valley Rural Cemetery and the Middle Valley Cemetery. Other notable structures on the tour include the Obadiah LaTourette Grist Mill in the German Valley Historic District and the Middle Valley Community Center in the Middle Valley Historic District.
The Washington Township Historical Society brings interested residents together to discover the history of the area and promote a stronger appreciation of American heritage. This non-profit group supports historical programs, archives, publications, preservation markers and historical collections in their museum located at 6 Fairview Avenue in Long Valley.
