Community Event: Guided Walk at Scherman Hoffman, Bernardsville

August 17, 2016 Turpin Real Estate

Explore the natural beauty of the Somerset Hills during free guided walks through the Scherman Hoffman Wildlife Sanctuary in Bernardsville. Every Saturday morning in August from 8 to 9AM, a New Jersey Audubon staff and/or associate naturalist will host a quiet walk through the sanctuary’s trails. An informal and informative way to start your weekend, the walk will highlight animal tracks, wildflowers, birds, trees, amphibians, reptiles and more.

Owned and operated by the Audubon Society, The Scherman Hoffman Wildlife Sanctuary is located at 11 Hardscrabble Road in Bernardsville. Surrounded by protected space, the sanctuary borders Morristown National Historic Park near the historic Cross Estate. It offers three miles of hiking trails along the headwaters of the Passaic River, a bookstore/nature store and Environmental Education Center.

The Bernardsville Office of Turpin Real Estate is located at 163 Morristown Road, a short distance from the Scherman Hoffman Wildlife Sanctuary. Stop by our Bernardsville Office after the guided walk to learn about real estate news, New Jersey real estate trends and luxury home listings in and around Bernardsville. Turpin associates are well-versed in these topics as well as luxury homes for sale in Bernardsville, luxury real estate in New Jersey and luxury homes in Somerset County.  Contact Turpin for more information at 877-788-7746.
